Agrotech-Bangladesh represents BioBag International Norway (www.biobag.no) in Bangladesh.  
Bangladesh government has banned Polyethylene as packaging and shopping/carrier bags and Agrotech-Bangladesh is working to provide the replacement with 100% biodegradable and compostable BioBag and Bio Packaging Materials. Bangladesh did not had any standard for packaging materials recoverable through composting and biodegradation, Agrotech worked closely with the Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute of under the ministry of industry to adopt EN-13432 as Bangladesh standard. Bangladesh Standard and Testing Institute adopted EN-13432 as BDS-EN-13432. This standard is a milestone to implement govt. anti-polyethylene policy.
